When did your child begin sleeping through the night?

When did your baby begin sleeping through the night? Curious also as to whether boys or girls sleep through the night first or if there's any correlation? My MIL says after 10 lbs boys should be sleeping all night long regardless of age!

Mines 18 months and still wakes at LEAST once a night and typically wants milk

My son slept through around 6 months then stopped. Around 8 months it was a sudden screw you im getting up every 3 hours again. Living hell for MONTHS. around 14 months we said enough is enough and we did sleep training. Wish we did it sooner. Sleeps 10-12 hours now at 16 months.

I have a 3 month old preemie (technically not even born yet - was due Jan 16th)...and I just got her home on Christmas' Eve. She's breastfed and is doing a pretty good job sleeping at night. They recommend she eats more, but I'm not forcing her...at night she can easily go 5-6 hrs without feeding.
