sex after a D&C

I just had a d&c on 12/20 and was told to wait 6 weeks before having sex bc of risk of infection well my fiancé and I didn't even make it a week. We both have taken the loss very hard and just needed that physical connection from another. Ever since we had sex I've been cramping/having discomfort and bleeding. Which originally my bleeding stopped after the procedure in just 4 days. We had sex on the 5th day after the procedure. I'm not bleeding a lot just like a period basically. You think it's anything serious?
