You and your SO have been together for quite some time and have a kid together, naturally you want to get married. You would kill to have the same last name as them. At first it was, "we'll get married one day, I can't wait" Now he says he doesn't want to marry you but doesn't want to end the relationship because he doesn't want anyone else.
