Hook effect is real!

Let me start off by saying that I know you need to stop testing after a doctors confirmation, so you stay less stressed, etc. Good for you if u can, BUT I COULDN'T STOP. I have had 2 chemical pregnancies and 2 miscarriages all within the year and 4 months we've been TTC. All the while I have been spotting FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS. I didn't have a period in between this pregnancy and my last miscarriage, I guessed I was around 7-8 weeks at my last appointment and doc said ultrasound looked like maybe 6.5 at the most. DO I NEED TO GO ON AS TO WHY IM A POAS ADDICT?? No need to judge or tell people to stop peeing. Unless its just a suggestion, that's understandable. But you don't know what they've been thru!!

Anywho, I got a very positive test a couple of days ago, the day of my ultrasound actually, I took one because I was spotting most likely because those transvaginal ultrasounds are HUGE. So I was curious and then I took one yesterday and the line was lighter so I took a couple more throughout the day (light lines again) and called my nurse and said I wanted beta numbers because I was in panic mode.

Yesterday goes by and this morning I take another light line and I remember the hook effect that I read about and wasn't the case my last pregnancy when lines got lighter (miscarriage was the reason that time).

The hook effect is when you have so much of the pregnancy hormone in your system that the pregnancy test gives you false negatives or lighter line. (Makes me wonder if that's why some ppl say they never get a positive hpt)

I was looking for any type of hope. Then I out of curiosity dipped another test in the toilet, lol where my urine was diluted with the toilet water and it wasn't super dark but was darker than the other test...hmmm. I go and eat breakfast, drink water, squeeze out a little more urine and 50/50 dilute it with water and I got the bottom test result in this pic. Shortly after I got an email that my beta is almost 40k. FYI test line on the right in pics. I hope I can stop testing now. I may or may not be going nuts.
