Random cramps?

I am having sex more (not trying to conceive, but in a new relationship)  but we use condoms and I am currently on my birth control so there's a very small chance For me to be pregnant. My last time having sex was last Thursday and ever since then I've been experiencing menstrual cramps, but I am not due for my period for another 3 weeks, does anyone else experience this?
