Unaffectionate boyfriend

My boyfriend is really unaffectionate, we are both 17 been together for 2 years he used to be affectionate for the first 6 months then it's stopped and he is only affectionate if he's horny or he's not seeing me for a while so he'll give me a quick kiss. He only tells me he loves me when we're about to have sex or when we're saying goodbye or goodnight, I'm very open with my feelings and always tell him I love him, he's beautiful, I miss him etc. when I have spoken to him about this he says he's not the type of guy to do that stuff, or only fake 'whipped' people do this. One time I held his hand and he snatched it away and said whipped. I was offended and he made it out like there was something wrong with me for being offended. It's now becoming annoying and I don't know if I can do this for much longer, I recieve love verbally and through touch. He says he expresses lpve through gifts yet he never buys me gifts (I don't care for gifts anyway just an interesting argument when he doesn't even do that) I'm not sure what to do cause when I talk to him it never changes it only changes for a week at most.
