Had protected sex but missed my period but have no symptoms of pregnancy

It has been 1-2 weeks with no symptoms of pregnancy and I'm wondering what's the problem of missed/late period if I don't have any symptoms. PLEASE HELP! am worried or if I'm just worried about nothing
