What would you do!

I'm laying next to my husband last night and he said it's been a while since we did anything.  Due to long work hours and mental issues with me having been sexually assaulted from years back as a child and he tells you we need to have it more or it would basically push him to finding it somewhere else. But the morning tells you he would never cheat and asks if you're pissed. I'm deeply hurt. How would you react or feel?

Sex is an important part of a relationship. It's a natural need that most people need fulfilled. You can't make your husband pay for what some other piece of shit did. I really hope you get therapy & work through this issues as that is not healthy. Coming from someone who never ever thought I'd cheat, after about 6 months with practically no sex (with my ex) I became very tempted & came very close. Instincts take over eventually. It's our nature. If I ever feel like I'm not satisfied with my sex life I immediately discuss it, because frankly, I don't ever want thoughts like that creeping into my mind again. You have to find a compromise. Sex is the biggest step from friend to partner. Don't lose that intimacy or you might as well just be friends. I understand you're upset with what he said, but you also have to understand how incredibly frustrated he must be to say that. Your man misses you. Show him some love. He is not the person that attacked you. I was molested for years by one person & attacked by another. I would never ever make my husband suffer the consequences of someone else's actions. I took the appropriate steps to get over it & move past it. Even after years of abuse, I never even think about it anymore. If it's affecting you & your marriage, you really need to seek help.

Yes I would be hurt but you can't shut him out either. It's not fair for him either. Maybe consider therapy to help with this area?

I see both sides to this. I would be hurt but he probably only said it to scare you into thinking if u don't satisfy him he will find it somewhere else. Even though he wouldn't do that to you and it was wrong of him to say. I know if I wasn't satisfied I would need to make a change bc I'm a very sexual person and it's something I have to have. Not all the time but on a regular bases. Maybe just talk with him and let him know how much that hurt you.

I'd be pissed if my oh said that to me. I know he'd never cheat on me but I would feel bad about not being able to give him what he needs/wants. I can't say I understand what you're going through because I don't. I am sorry you had to go through it all though. If you don't feel ready to have sex with him, if you can bring yourself to it, maybe just talk to him about how your feeling about it all (even if you already have) and if you can, try just wanking him off or sucking him off till he cums? If you can't, it's fine, you're under NO obligations to do so. But it is unhealthy for him to not get anything. Even if it's just once in a while. Maybe try counselling? See if you can get help to deal with what you went through. But on the other hand, he should understand how you're feeling and how if affects you and he shouldn't be saying stuff like that to make how you feel worse! I'm sure it doesn't help in anyway. It's not your fault so he shouldn't make you feel like it is!

My husband and I deal with this all the time, I'm pregnant now and I want sex less, I know he would never cheat on me though, so I've not really been concerned. I do often feel bad for never wanting it. I guess it's just a matter of it you truly
Trust him or not, might be a good idea to talk about it.
