Who all had c-section? Is it that bad as they say it is?

This is my first pregnancy! I've been watching YouTube videos on c-section and saw were a couple girls had died from the surgery and their c-section cut from infection. I do have anxiety which I panic at every little thing I see! Just wanted to know how true this is? My mom had three c sections and she said she came out fine!

I had one last Thursday and because it wasn't planned I was freaking out. My anxiety was getting the best of me n made my body go into shock. It was not fun smh. But once u hear ur lil one cry for the first time it all goes away. Now with recovery my staples n my swollen feet/legs r the only things that still hurt. Just make sure u follow all of the after care so u won't get an infection and take the meds every 3hrs instead of 4hrs so I won't have much pain waiting for the new pain med to kick in

The scary part was just not truely knowing what to expect, something you have to just experience to find out. In the end everything is so worth it.

My SIL had one after having a natural birth with her first and she said she preferred the c section.

I've had 2 my first was emergency and was very scary because of the emergency and my second I had 9 months ago and was heaps calmer and I was so at ease. I have also had a natural birth too

I ended up having to get a c-section, first time mom...and it wasn't horrible. Lots and lots of pressure but they drug and numb you up pretty good. After baby was out and they were stiching me up, I did get super nauseous but didn't actually puke. Healing wasn't that bad, it's all about getting up and moving but being careful at the same time. Mine healed up perfectly fine and the scar is so low that if I wear a bikini no one would even know!! 🤗

Just make sure to do all you're reading up on it. I had an emergency c section, and mine wasn't the best.

It definitely wasn't fun but I've survived two...even got a stomach bug the second time so I was puking days after....that was the worst of it...

I had a c-section with my first 7 years ago n it was fine this time around with my daughter just a week n half ago n I'm fine I started walking that same night not going to lie it sucks the first few nights not able to sleep the way u want other than that ur fine

I had one and my recovery went awesome. No lasting pain or anything. My vbac was almost harder with an episiotomy that got infected and stitches that opened back up... All in all neither was awful though
