Took Ovulation test????

Question

So I am trying to get pregnant this month. I bought an ovulation kit and it's been negative everyday so far even though the past couple of days I have cramped like I am ovulating. So today I test and there two lines which says I'm ovulating. So when exactly should I have sex? The box says 24-48 hours later? Doesn't seem right.

Ovulation occurres 12-36 hours after a positive opk. The test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line to be considered positive. Also, it is best to test 2 times per day because your surge may be too short to catch if you test only 1 time per day. You also want to hold your pee for 2-3 hours before you test so the hormone has time to build up in your pee. And you should test in the mid afternoon/evening. Good luck and babydust!

At least same and next day to be safe. You will usually ovulate 24-48 hours after the positive test result but sperm last up to around 3 days so they will stick around.
