Stealing from stores

I grew up in a broken home, my brother is a convicted sex offender and was in prison for raping me when I was young. My mom hated me, my dad didn't protect me from sexual assault. My other brother was and still is a heavy drug addict in and out of the hospital, and jail. He's my best friend though, I love him. He was the one I grew up with, he protected me. But, because of him I got into drugs at 15, and I began stealing for him. Pills, knives, bb guns, games, etc. I stopped at 16 because I got pregnant and wanted to be a good mom. I moved out, got married, got a house and was doing so good. My husband then lost his job making $70,000 a year. We tried to get on assistance to help while we looked for other jobs. They took 2 months to get it to us. We had no family to look to for help, I ended up stealing a few cans of formula, diapers, and a few winter sleepers for my daughter. Then, we stole food. We needed it. Since I was 15, I have never stolen anything I never needed. We are better financially and I have stopped but I did it for so long that when I need something I want to steal it. I don't, but i want to. It's like a drug addict who wants to be clean but sees drugs. I guess because i got so used to it and got addicted to it. I will admit, i have slipped up a few times and stole some shampoo & conditioner, food and baby items. I feel like im addicted to it and i feel like a horrible person. Im not telling you guys this to be judged, i just need advice because i do not want to do it and get caught and go to jail. I do not feel as if im a criminal because i dont steal to have nice things or to sell things. I needed them. I just feel like i cant stop now.
