Goodbye 2016.
A year ago I was a college dropout. My boyfriend and I were at each other's throats. I had shitty jobs to pay my rent and I hated them. I hated everything, I was waiting for the night I'd go to sleep and not have to wake up, open my eyes & face my reality.
Now I have three months left until I graduate cosmetology school. I just started a job as an assistant to a reputable salon in a great neighborhood and I'm getting specialized training. My fiancé and I are doing absolutely wonderful. I love the color the sun casts through my blinds while it's rising.
I've learned that there is always hope, You are who you are and that is all you can give & Everything happens for a reason.
2016 was tough shit, but now so am I.
I hope this means 2017 is where it gets better.
