at the right place at the right time

Mine is that I was taking my daughter to a routine drs appt for my son and I (he was just an infant) and she was acting really funny. She wasn't making sense in the car and she couldn't be cheered up. I even had to carry her on the stroller into the appt! I laid her on the patient bench and waited for the dr. He chatted with me and noticed jades lethargic behavior. He offered her some water and when she sat up to drink it she promptly puked all over the floor. 😳😬 I have a severe vomit phobia so I immediately went into panic mode and thank God he was there! He not only cleaned it up as well as her but he immediately took her vitals and squeezed her into his schedule when he saw that they weren't good. Apparently she was on the verge of heat stroke and I can't stand to think what would have happened had that happened at home. I would have treated her like she was sick and l would have put her in her hot room (no AC) I wouldn't have forced her to drink fluids like my dr did and I wouldn't have known what was going on until it got hospital worthy or worse. Every time my heart swells with joy she brings me I thank God i was at the drs office that day. She walked out of there A-okay but that almost could have been a completely different visit. Whew! Close one! lol
