Question

A week ago I had some pink and brown spotting after 2 days it stopped. Then Friday I woke up with some pink spotting that lasted all day and Friday night turned into maybe 4 min of heavier bleeding with no passing of tissue or clots. Then stopped and nothing today. Monday I'll be 9 weeks pregnant . I have not been seen by a dr at all so far be I have not had health insurance. My health insurance is active as of 12am..... should I go to the er and get checked or should I wait until my dr appt on the 2nd?

I'd wait. There's nothing they could do anyway if it was a miscarriage. Best of luck to you. It sounds normal, though. I had worse bleeding in my first pregnancy and everything turned out fine.

I'd wait. Unless it's bright red or you see tissue/clots. I had bleeding throughout the pregnancy. My doctor told me if it's more than a couple tablespoons of blood and it's red, go straight to the ER. Pink/brown blood is old blood. The couple times I went to the ER it was with bright red bleeding and a significant amount at that. If you're worried though, you should call the doctor's office and talk to the nurse or whoever is on call. Let them decide what you should do.

I went to the ER for bleeding around 5 weeks. They checked me and did an ultrasound and did bloodwork. Basically what I got from them was there was blood but no tissue or clotting and my cervix was still closed. There was a gestational sac and the start of a fetal pole but that was it and your not able to see the ultrasound at all. Gave me paperwork on a threatened miscarriage and told me if it was worse than three pads an hour to come back but other than that it was a waiting game.... $3000 dollars and then some for all that. I would wait if your appt isn't soon then call and ask to be seen sooner and let them know why.
