pp period?

i had my first real period at 12 weeks pp (i bled for 8 flippin weeks pp lol) but i'm 4 days late as of now, is it normal for periods to be wacky? we've had protected sex every time... kinda. we started sex without a condom but he pulled out and put one on then we continued. when i found out i was pregnant before, i was 5 days late; should i test or wait it out?
