Experience recruiting?

My hubby has been thinking about dropping a recruiters packet since we are both getting pretty tired of him having to be gone all the time. Does anyone have experience with this they might want to share?

Honestly recruiting sucks! My husband and the others wives husbands were gone all the time trying to get their quotas for the month. They were out literally mon-saturday and their phones ran constantly with young kids with questions about joining. Then when the guys think they finally get a weekend off they do a function with all the new poolies. My husband and I both thought it would mean more time but it was the complete opposite,horrible. Im Not sure what branch your husband is in but for Marines the recruiting contract is 2+ yrs!

I don't know what branch your hubs is but my man is USMC and I've never met one person who liked recruiting duty. They actually get paid more than anyone else because of how stressful their job is (with filling quotas and such). My husband put in a package to be a Drill Instructor and got it, so thankfully we won't be sent to some random place for him to try and recruit. Try a military affiliated page on Facebook, they should be able to help

Both my husband and I are recruiters. It has its ups and downs. There have been some really enjoyable moments and some not so good moments. We both love it for the most part.

My fiancé is a recruiter & I hate it. He works nonstop & his phone never stops ringing. We took a little weekend getaway & had to leave to go back home because he got a call & had to go to the office. I don't suggest going into recruiting

Recruiting is the worst! My husband had 3 months of training before we got to our station and now we are here and I rarely see him. Our 1 year old goes days without seeing him because of his schedule. He works 6 days a week for at least 12-16 hours. He leaves before I even get up. There are some weeks he even works sundays. I would avoid recruiting duty if you can

Army. It's not a contract, it's s packet here. Well right now we are at ampsoitiin where he is gone for months at a time so seeing him at home at all even sometimes would be great
