PP Period

Hey ladies. Just wondered if anyone could give me insight into periods postpartum. I'm breastfeeding and my first period came back a few weeks ago (my LO just turned 7 months) and I've been having random spotting. Is this normal? Are your periods all out of whack now or did they return pretty normally? I'm also on the mini pill if that makes any difference. I was on regular birth control pills before ttc my daughter so I've taken pills before but never the mini. Thanks in advance!
