is it possible to ovulate while still recovering from an ectopic pregnancy?

I took this test yesterday afternoon but I was wondering if it is possible to ovulate while still in recovery from an ectopic pregnancy.
On November 27 I found out I was pregnant
On December 6 I was bleeding heavily and doctors said I miscarried
On December 12 doctors called and said my hcg was still rising and on December 19 I found out I had an ectopic pregnancy and received only one round of the shot.
