I am kind of. Just the fact the so many things have changed your seeing more violence bullying alot of more racism now with donald trump being president. Were now at 2017. They say they're might be another war. Or that California will have this massive earthquake ( san andres) just shit like that. The world is getting closer to an end. Idk its just a cruel world out there. So much has changed.

I'm just going to commit myself to teaching my son love and tolerance. The world can only become a better place if more people teach their children to be the change they want to see in the world.

Once all these old racist die off some of the racism will go with it. America has dealt with racist before Donald Trump this time the new generation will come prepared to fight if necessary. Hope it doesn't have to get to that point.

I'm not necessarily SCARED of having a child in this cruel world.... as previous comments have mentioned YES, this world is cruel, but it always has been cruel. My SO and I are very capable of teaching our child to defend himself or herself and others who have a harder time doing so.  I do think it is selfish of me to have a child of own when there are thousands of children who need a home and loving parents, though.

Sometimes I worry about the shape our world is in. But it has nothing to do with the president. 
Times were hard years ago, it was just different. I refuse to let fear rule my decisions. I pray over my son all the time though. The experience of being a mother trumps all of thay worry, I must say. It is the best job in the world. You'll see. ☺💙🙏🏼

I'm terrified of my son starting preschool this year. 😔 I don't want people to change his happiness and mentality. He's very nice and loving, always loves to share with others. He loves being called silly because he has such an outgoing personality. I'm literally crying because I can't imagine some other little kid breaking down his confidence all because that other kid wasn't aloud to be a kid in his home so he goes to school and bullies all the happy kids. Ugh it breaks my heart😭💔😔😔

Of course I'm scared to bring a child into this world but not necessarily because it's closer to the end of the world. I'm scared because I want my child to grow up successful and strong and happy. I want to be a good mom. I hate the idea of President Trump but I also think we're not in any worse of a position we've been before. I know our country will get through it and we'll have another President Obama-like soon!

I don't really want kids because of the birthing process itself. I would prefer to be a foster parent. I honestly think the world is slowly coming to an end. If you look at the news in each part of the world, everyone is dealing with some crazy bull and it's only a matter of time before we all lose it. So no, I don't plan on bringing a kid into the world but the world has always been cruel.
