extra ultrasounds

Anyone else have to have extra ultrasounds to check baby's weight & amniotic fluid? I'm 32w&1d. I got diagnosed with GD at 28 weeks, and I failed drastically. I'm not on any meds yet. Just diet controlled for now. Also, worried about having to have her early? Can anyone give me more information as to why I would have to be induced early? I have a weight ultrasound on Thursday to see how she's doing, and making sure she's not measuring bigger than she should be.
