Birth control after babies

Okay so this is a discussion I will also have with my doctor when I go to my first post baby appointment but I want to get some insight from other real women about their experiences with any birth control method. Let me start by saying condoms aren't an option since my fiancé hates them lol, and I did do the Depo shot for about a year but I didn't like how I bled for a whole month leading up to my next dose. I have taken the pill before and as long as I have my alarm set I don't forget to take it but I'm interested in some other options that other women have had good experience with and have friends who have good experiences with them.
