selfish?

Me and my husband haven't had sex for almost a month. We never have sex when I want it only at the snap of a finger to him. Tonight He Went in the bed room and went straight to sleep. He was off today and he is tomorrow as well. I'm just tired of feeling like it's a chore for him. I feel unloved and unwanted by my own damn husband. Im tired of competing with his friends for attention im so over it. Am I being selfish?

UPDATE: ladies I talk to him. All the time about it but it ends in him going to sleep.

You say that it ends in him going to sleep. Have you tried stopping him during the day? A firm, 'I love you but you are absolutely not getting out of this conversation' kinda conversation?

This is an issue that's close to my heart, and one that I had with my husband. Basically, I just got across that 'this is really hurting me, something has GOT to give,' and we've been working on it.

I think this will always be a work in progress for us, but as long as there's something being done about it, I'm happy. That really sucks that your husband's being so difficult about it. Unfortunately this is something that needs to be discussed gently, as men are really sensitive about it, too.

Your not selfish. Have you tried talking to him?? Communication is key to make any relationship work out and a healthy sex life so get on talking to him about it. And if you have talked where has it lead to?

You deserve attention. You deserve affection. But also, if he doesn't want to give I don't know what you could entirely do. Maybe try talking to him or suggest marriage counseling?
