new medication affecting period??

I just started taking antacid medication and my period was supposed to come Monday and it's late. I've had protected sex twice since my last period and he's cum outside of me. Is it possible that the medication is making my period late? Or should I be worried?

It could be the reason! I started antibiotics because I was sick about a week before my period was due. It came 19 days late(so the time from my last period and the current one was 54 days)... I had sex too so I kinda freaked out a little. But trust me don't freak out! The best thing to do is take a test. It will ease your mind because if you're stressing about it combined with your new medicine you could completely miss you period because of it. Hope this helped💗
