Do you wake your baby to feed at night?

Question

I'm exclusively breastfeeding and my daughter is 18 days old. At her two week appointment, she surpassed her birth weight. We don't see her pediatrician until her 2 month appt. Do you wake your baby at night once they reach their birth weight or do you let them wake on their own? Do you wake them to change their diaper throughout the night? Thanks in advance. Just feeling overly cautious since we don't get to see her ped for awhile.

I wait for baby to wake...haven't been lucky enough for her to ever sleep longer than 4 hours so the chances of it happening are slim and going over once or twice isn't going to hurt her when she is a healthy weight already

Nope! After he got the okay from doc at his two week we let him sleep. He actually has been cluster feeding from somewhere between 8-11pm, then sleeps for 5-6 hours. Wakes up once through out the night, then sleeps for another 3-4 hours. It's so nice! And we're appreciating the sleep.

She is 22 days and I've let her wake on her own for a couple weeks now. I also only wake up once, around 3am. She'll nurse and then go backtksleep until around 7-8. The only time I change her is if when she wakes up and I know that she has pooped :)

I've been letting him wake himself which happens about 330 and we feed and go back to sleep and I wake up at 8

My daughter wakes me up, I don't wake her. Sometimes only once per night, or like tonight she wants to eat every 2 hours, but has gone back to sleep each time.

I dont let my son go over 4 hours i wake him up if hez not awake. He has jaundice so for the first 3weeks he was on 2hourly feeds just now we are on 3 to 4hourly. He is 1month old and putting weight on beautifully. I change him like 3 times overnight.

I let my baby sleep. He'll wake up if he's hungry. He also usually only needs a diaper change shortly after he eats. Also if I wake him in the middle of the night for a diaper change, he will not go back to sleep.
