So I took the 1hr glucose test the other day and when I showed my mom the results she said they are probably going to make me start checking my blood sugar the rest of the pregnancy. Will they have me do the 3hr test? Even though it's just high by 1?

Ours you do the 3 hour if it's over 140. But they may have you just to be safe or they may not. But they will have you do the three hour before you have to check yours at home daily. Because the three hour checks fasting, 1 hr, 2 hr, 3 hr

I was over the limit by 4 points and I had to do the 3-hour test:-( hopefully they let you slide though!

Its not a bad thing if you have to test more frequently.  I mean,  better know it when it goes the wrong way,  than finding out when baby has grown too big already.  
Ive got diabetes since week 14 (which is extremely early), I have to use Insuline,  and of course its no fun,  but it aint that awfull either.
