in law drama

ok so my boyfriend and I have been living at his grandmas for not to long, she has been so nice to me until about 4 days ago. She's started being so overly rude to me and she's been yelling at everyone in the house non stop, she's made snide comments towards me and everything. She started this OUT OF NO WHERE!! I don't know what to do, but it's making me want to live at my parents house which is an hour away, but me and my boyfriend have been living together for about 8 months now, I'm so used to seeing him everyday now and I would miss him to much. I've tried to talk to him about and he says "it's not you, she's just stressed about things and she doesn't care that you are staying with us." Idk what to do or think, pls help :(
