Tattoos with no correlation to the person getting them?
What do you think about people getting tattoos that have nothing to do with them?
For example: Arabic writing when you don't speak or understand Arabic. Or a tattoo of Buddha when you don't follow Buddhism you simply just think the artwork is beautiful? Even Native American artwork when you are not Native American?
I think as long as they are not offensive and you respect what you are putting on your body (making sure it is culturally accurate, spelt correctly, etc) then it's okay. I see tattoos as art so I would only get something that I thought was beautiful to me.
