Joining military with a boyfriend?

I'm in a very serious relationship, I do intend on marrying this boy and spending my life with him. As I love spending time with him and physically being there with him, I've also been considering the military. I already passed the ASVAB but I'm not sure. He doesn't want me to go because I'll barely see him, but I really don't know what to do with my life and that would be an amazing option for me. Travel and early retirement!! But he keeps saying "don't go. We can travel together and you don't even have to work, I'll pay for everything" but I was raised to be very dependent and I couldn't let him do that. I don't know what to do. Should I stay? Should I go? If I do go, what should I expect?
