Depo or pregnancy symptoms?

I've been on depo for less than a month. I got the shot 8 days after my period and I had unprotected sex 2 weeks after that. I took a pregnancy test 6 days later and it was negative but I think it's too early to tell. However, the only symptoms I've been experiencing is cramping, discharge, and just recently spotting. According to eve my period should've been 8 days ago but I don't know whether that's from the depo or pregnancy. Should I be worried? I'm new to the shot and I don't know if spotting this light is normal

I was on the depo for a yr. I had a period the first month. Then after my second shot (3 months later) I got another but just spotting for like 2 days. I didn't get one again until about 6 months after my I got off the depo. It isn't abnormal to not get a period. It worried me too. If you're really nervous go get a real test done.

Spotting is normal. It's also normal to miss you period. Depo can pretty much play with everything hormonal. I'm on it too and it work for some thing but not others. Depends how it react with your body. It can also trick you body into 'feeling' pregnant.
