so hard to make friends

so im 19 and I’ve never had a best friend. I have a boyfriend of 4 years and he’s been my best friend. But it feels like i want a girl best friend but can’t find someone i like or that equally likes me back. always end up not becoming close or they just don’t seem like a good friend to me so i back away. Is it me? or is it because I’m too picky with friends. I feel like I’m too sensitive and will stop liking someone if they do something i don’t like. what should i do
