Easy meals?

Hi ladies,
   I had twins 18 days ago. My mom left today and hubby goes back to work monday. 
   I need some dinner ideas that are easy- i will have all four kiddos and need something ill be able to execute!
 What ha e you been making since baby(s) were born??

Use a crock pot!!! I did when on maternity leave and still do now that I'm back to work.

There are a billion things you can do with a slow cooker but here's two easy starters:
1. Spaghetti and meatballs. If I have time, I make and cook my own meatballs the night before and put them in a crock pot with tomato sauce on low for 8 hours or high for 4. I use premade sauce if I have it (I do home canning) but if I don't, I'll just throw in a couple large cans of crushed tomatoes, small jar of tomato paste and some Italian seasoning and it's good to go. We like sausage and mushrooms so we'll sometimes throw that in too. Make the pasta anytime on the stove.
2. Put one uncooked chicken breast per person in a slow cooker with a jar of salsa, a drained can or two of beans (I use black beans), and some corn (I use frozen). Cook for 8 hours on low or 4 on high. I tend to shred the chicken with a fork before serving (only takes a minute). This can be served with cooked rice but we usually don't bother

We try to make dinners that will last two nights so like lasange, stews, sausage casseroles etc we live in Scotland and it's winter here right now so these dinners are perfect for us!
