newborn not pooping?

My son was born on January 6th at 4:35 am. As soon as he came out of the womb he pooped and peed on the doctor lol. He had two or theee more bowel movements in the hospital. We were discharged on January 7th around 1:30 pm and since then he hasn't pooped at all and it's starting to concern me a little bit. He isn't fussy, he sleeps a lot, he farts, he pees, and he breastfeeds regularly so everything seems normal and fine. I don't know if I'm stressing over nothing, or if I should be worried at this point. I've read about a q-tip method which helps get things going but I don't want to jump into action if there's nothing wrong. Anybody else having/had this issue?

My mom had the same problem with me and she never knew how to fix it, I'd poop once a day but not as regularly as I should. Now the doctor says if I don't take laxatives every two days I'll get constipated. I wouldn't stress over it but I'd ask a doctor sooner since there may have been a solution, my mom just didn't happen to have heard about it in time. Always consult a doctor! 😊❤️ Best of luck to baby!

You could try massaging his tummy and pumping his legs. It's only been 2 days. So I'm sure he's fine. My daughter was never a big pooper when she was a newborn. She only pooped like once a week. As long as he's not acting uncomfortable and he's peeing then I wouldn't worry about it.

Breastfed babies don't poop as much because they use almost every single bit of your breast milk. 
For sure call your doctor and share your concern, but could be just that

Breastfed babies don't poop as much.  My daughter was a once a day pooper for a long time and my niece would go days without pooping.  Take the baby to the dr if you are very concerned and you can do massages to help move things along.
