what should I drink before an anatomy scan ?

I need to get the baby moving so what's the best thing to drink ... He only
Kicks at night even if I do drink caffeine idk what to do lol

at my 20 week scan my baby layed there perfectly to allow sonographer to do all checks and then when it came to seeing the legs were crossed lol so i had a mouthful of pepsi max and boom the legs opened to see my baby is a boy lol then he wouldnt keep still ...i knew drinking pepsi max made him move anyway so i was sure it was gunna work lol

I have found that if I take a warm bath, and then drink a really really cold glass of water, that will make him wiggle! My baby doesn't really respond to sugar or juice.

My anatomy scan was earlier in the morning like 8-9 so I had eaten McDonald's mcmuffins for breakfast because they were fast and on the go. And then I had an orange juice to go with it and the ultrasound tech couldn't get a good shot because he was non stop. She had to take the bottom shot 3 times to see if she got it right that he was a boy because he wouldn't stay still for her.

This mays be a dumb question but are you able to drink anything but water before your anatomy scan?

For mine I can only have water for 2 hours prior to the scan.

I didn't eat or drink anything special & my baby was so active that the dr had a hard time getting the measurements & views she wanted! So I wouldn't worry too much :)
