Diaper rash!?

My baby has diaper rash really bad!! I use Destin but it is in the car..and my boyfriend has my car tonight.. and aquaphor isn't helping! Is there anything else I can do I tried a bath but she did not like that at all!

What helped us the most when my LO had a pretty intense diaper rash was letting him have as much naked time as possible.  I would lay towels out and do tummy time without a diaper. It's not always the most fun for mom but it made a really big difference in how fast the diaper rash went away. I also stopped using baby wipes and only used water and cotton pads... also not fun but it worked.

My doctor told me the best thing for a diaper rash is water and let it air dry! It's a pain to do but it really does help!! I used a squirt bottle to rinse him and put a towel down then fanned him off and put the diaper on and tried to leave him for ab 10 min a day with no diaper.

My baby girl had a really bad diaper rash when she was about 3 months old and her pediatrician told me to use very little corttizone10 and it went away within hours

Make sure the active ingredient is Zinc Oxide (recommended when we took parenting classes). We use Cera Ve and have had great results. Also let baby have as much naked time as possible to air our.

My little girl recently had horrible diaper rash! I would say let it air out as much as possible!! I also used this combo and it cleared up in no time.. you slather the Boudreaux's butt paste all over and then once that's on go on with a layer of the petroleum jelly! Hope this helps!

Let your baby get air. My baby girl only has gotten minor rashes, and as soon as I see it, ill have her on towels or those washable pee pads. She pees alot so I have to switch it often. Also when she naps she is butt naked. I'm sure it feels good for them to get air because their wearing diapers 24-7

I've used aquaphor since day one, I used to put it on regularly. Now it's usually if she poops, and before bedtime. I'm usually always home so I change her diaper regularly but if she's going to be sitting in her car seat or times when I can't change it as often I put it on extra those days. She hasn't had a diaper rash yet (knock on wood). Well, I didn't know if it was diaper rash or just a rash to food or lotion it was above her bottom, and a tiny bit on her butt. And I put aquaphor on each diaper change for two days and it was gone pretty quickly.

Keep it dry as possible if no good cremes are helping. Wash with water and let air dry for some time. Good luck!
