TMI Just Spotting or Miscarriage?

Every time I wipe for the past few hours I've gotten this. It hasn't been enough to get to a pad. I'm 5w1d today. I've used the restroom about every hour for 5 hours and consistently get about the same amount. No cramping. No change in pregnancy symptoms.

An update: everything is good, no miscarriage! I saw the baby's heartbeat late last week and everything else appears to be moving along smoothly. Just to be safe, I'm O negative so I got a shot of Rhogam and haven't had additional bleeding since.

I bled a lot (red) with my last baby and she's a healthy almost 1 year old now. It could be nothing or it could a sign of something serious. Have you had intercourse recently?

I'm in the same boat. Called midwife and she said watch and wait. Have to call back tomorrow if it has increased! We're in this together. I'm 9 weeks 2 days x

Last week at around 6w5d I had the exact same thing following brown spotting, then within the same day it turned to brown again. My doc wanted to see me because I had bad cramping the entire pregnancy. We saw baby again and it quadrupled in size from the week before and the heartbeat was stronger! All bleeding has stopped. The doc said that it's likely just because there's your blood and the baby's blood separated by a thin membrane, along with your blood volume increasing by 50%, so leaks occur. Call your doc for a scan for peace of mind! ❤

I'm exactly like this and my baby who is almost 7 weeks is healthy and has an amazing heartbeat. I have cramps, clotting (attached a photo) and blood but yet my baby is strong!

I'm so sorry. I miscarried on Sunday and unfortunately this is what I had as well. I went to the ER and had it checked out, and they confirmed a miscarriage. It's always better to ask than to sit around and drive yourself crazy. Best of luck ❤️
