Any Ones LO diagnostic with periodic breathing?

First trip to ER. 
Doc said he will grow out of it nothing we can do. Just looking for other stories.

All babies have that at birth. They can and do stop breathing for up to 20 seconds.  It's normal.they are not fully adjusted to breathing AIR.. they don't breathe air in the belly,  but rather amniotic fluid...
All babies to that.  Reason why those devices to check the baby is breathing,  give out false alarms all the time. 
My daughter did it first 3 weeks of her life. All nurses, my obgyn  and her pediatrician all said the same thing-it's 100% normal and they outgrow it.
And of course, they are right.  After 3 weeks she started breathing 100% fine and with no pauses.
It's just baby adjusting to the outside life
