What is your dream home?

What is your ideal living situation? Watching House Hunters has got me thinking about where I'd like to live 😂

A farm with a big ass red barn for my animals and a large mansion with black marble everywhere.... ohhh a girl can dream lol

A modern farmhouse with a wide porch (I'm obviously southern 😂) on a small farm in Montana, where I can see the mountains all around me, with tons of snow all winter and warm summer days. With my children running around, exploring nature and helping me with our farm animals. I plan to homeschool so we could spend the day learning outdoors when it's nice outside. This is all not really a dream considering I'm GOING to live in a place like this. My husband already knows there's no point in trying to change my mind, my heart is set on it.

Well I'd love to have a sprawling country estate in the Home Counties within easy reach of London with Georgian architecture but that's not really going to happen so no point dwelling on your dream at the cost of improving your reality.

A cabin in the woods but I'd have an elaborate bathroom. I don't know if I would really go through with it in the future though because city life is so convenient. Maybe just a simple home in the deep South will do.

Well, I wanted a castle but can't afford to pay for heat so we ended up buying my SO's parents house and they downsized. Only thing I don't really like is that the living space is upstairs from the driveway, and since they had everyone come in through the basement for so many years I can't seem to break any of them of the habit and come to the actual front door. Which wouldn't be so bad but my SO is a bit of a slob and randomly leaves his crap everywhere, and while I police the upstairs (much to his annoyance), downstairs is harder. I am still a bit muttery because we only looked at one other place before buying it, and house hunting for myself was something I looked forward to for years. Been telling him that we're going house hunting when one of our kids wants to buy it (currently expecting our first). So he's freaking out because he hates change that much, which is why I'm getting him used to the idea now...

I would like a couple of acres of land, and a big modernish/country style house. 
I live in a shitty house that has been under construction for about 10 years, possibly more. I'm so tired of it 😭
