How often are you bathing your newborn?

I'm torn between daily bathing to help get a routine and conscious of the delicate skin and unnecessary drying it out

Every two days for me. My baby spits up a lot and if I don't bathe him often, he'll end up smelling like spit up/sour milk.

I keep his face and neck clean with a warm washcloth daily, but it's SO DRY where we live and I don't think it's necessary to bathe him often. We bathe him about once a week right now and his skin is healthy.

Every 2-3 days, mostly 3. She also spits up a lot but I will wipe her down in between. But it's breast milk spit up too, so it doesn't really stink thankfully! Lol

Usually we lay him in his bath daily and let water run over him. It really relaxes him. Sometimes we skip a day.
Then we dab him dry to avoid irritating his skin.
