What's inside the diaper bag ?

I'm traveling soon with my two month old son. It's my first time bringing a baby on a plane so I have no clue what's allowed inside his diaper bag and what isn't. Also I do not breastfeed him anymore, so do they allow me to bring formula? (Probably a silly question) but please help!

I had to fly with my 3 month old by myself last spring and it was a 12 hr flight. In the diaper bag, I had 8-10 diapers, a pack of wipes, a can of formula, bottled water to mix, 3 empty small bottles, 2 changes of clothes just in case (he did have a blowout once), a toy, a blanket and a pacifier. In my purse I had my documents, tickets, baby's birth cetificate, phone, charger, makeup, candy etc... I checked in the stroller/carseat at the gate and picked it up every time we exited the plane (it was very helpful as i had 3 layovers 2 hours each and just walked around the airport with the stroller. I held the baby on my lap in the airplane, he slept almost the whole time. When I was going through security in the beginning, I had to take the water bottle out and the bottle of premade formula that the baby was eating and they tested it and gave it all back. This is the easiest age for babies to fly at.
