flying abroad with a 4-month old baby?

Hello! We are flying in a month to India to visit our parents so they get to see their grand daughter. My baby is now 3 months old and is exclusive formula fed. So I was wondering if any mom's with formula fed babies can advice me on how to feed her in flight? How to take care of the baby as it's a pretty long flight... it's our first time flying with a baby and we both are excited as well as a bit overwhelmed! Please advice... thank you!

Just got back from a transcontinental flight with my 5month old. NYC to LA. I'd researched the heck out of flying with babies.
1) if possible, take a night flight. Less chance of overstimulation which may lead to crankiness
2) make sure he's sucking at landing and takeoff so his ears don't pop. 
3) have toys or an iPad or something to play baby music - the music from fisher-price toys. 
3) have some lavender oil to rub onto the sole of his feet if he does get cranky.

My LO slept most of the flight. I also had him in size 2 diapers to minimize the number of times I had to change him (none) in the airplane bathroom. That's a germ trap!!

I would call the airlines or airport  to get more specific information on what you are allowed to bring through security. I read somewhere that you are allowed to bring formula but it has to be sealed a certain way. Also there is always limitations on how much liquid you can bring but also think there is an exception to this. I would really call and ask, they will give you specifics and then you won't have any worries
