induce or c section

When your doctor schdedule you for a c section or to induce you do they let you know weeks ahead or can they tell you that they are going to induce at th same time you have a check up . ( if that made any sense ) sorry lol ..... I'm currently 40 weeks measuring 41 , & my doctor hasn't told me anything at all . & im worried about my baby . I have a apt coming up to check the baby's movements for an hour. But that time I'll be 41 weeks to them but I'll be measuring 42 weeks
