Due Date - Cervix fully closed & firm

Today is my due date...had my midwife appointment who examined me and said my cervix is fully closed and firm and therefore couldn't do a sweep. Little bit gutted as I was hoping there'd be some progress. Just goes to show that eating pineapple, drinking raspberry leaf tea, birthing balls, sex and all the other things I've tried don't work. It's a waiting game and that's it.
