toddler advice

I have a 2 almost 3 year old daughter and I've been trying to get rid of her pacifier but nothing I seem to do helps when she's playing she seems to distracted to need it but once she realizes she doesn't have it she freaks and her teeth are pushed out a little bit because of the pacific I went to the dentist and they said it will fix itself when her adult teeth come in does anyone have and tips or tricks on how to get rid of the pacific
