I just wanted to talk about this..
I wanted to talk about Fetal-maternal microchimerism
When you share your body in a pregnancy, your cells mingle with your baby's cells. Even miscarried babies. Your babies cells are knitted into your bones and brain and you also carry cells from YOUR mother. You could also harbor cells from your older brother or sister even if they were miscarried. So that means if you have kids now and have had a miscarriage in the past, you and your children carry DNA from your previous miscarried baby.
This discovery is why people can now do blood tests to find the gender of your baby.
I just found this very..soothing as I have had a miscarriage. They stay with us always.
