Depo shot?

Can anyone who's ever been on or is on the shot tell me how it impacted their bodies? My mother is putting me on it against my will.

How old are you? I'm pretty certain it is illegal to make someone take a medication against their will.

You don't have to use depo if you don't want too. There are many are methods out there you can use.

It hasn't done anything to my body yet my only problem is that once I got my period it hasn't gone away I got my first shot on the 3 of December and got my first period on the 20th of December and to this day I still have it :( other then that tho it's not so bad I haven't had any other problems

I'm on the shot and I've actually loved it the pros of it is that you don't get your period anymore you only spot for a little bit but still saves you money with pads and tampons and you don't have to remember to take it you just have to remember to go back every 3 weeks to get it and you don't get cramps if you do start your period but cons are that some people gain weight have a increase of appetite but I've learned that you need to eat good when your on it also you get BAD mood swings out of no where sometimes i got mine close to Christmas and I kid you not I was crying so much over little things and I've cried so much to my boyfriend for little reasons I think it was all the work stress I've had on me and the fact that I couldn't be with family on Christmas or Christmas Eve because of work but out of all I recommend getting it I mean it has it pros and it's cons but out of all I've loved not having my period every single month and cramping
