what kind of bc should I get next?!

I currently have the nexplanon implant. I've had it since I was 17, and it's the only form of birth control I've ever tried. I get it out sometime within the next few months and I'm trying to decide what I want next. I don't want an implant again but it's makes my periods irregular and it's annoying to always have to be careful nothing hit my arm. So I don't want another implant, but I don't want to go to the pill because I JUST KNOW I couldn't keep up with taking them. And I'm scared of an IUD because I heard they're painful and may cause hair loss, worse cramps, and loss of sex drive. BUT IM ALSO SCARED to get on depo because I'm scared of the weight gain. When I got my implant I was 170 now I'm 145-150 so I wouldn't mind going back to my old weight, I'd actually like to, but I'm scared I'll gain too much weight and hate myself for it!
