Rock & Play vs. Bassinet

We are expecting baby #2. A few moms I know have or are planning on using a rock & Play next to the bed. I like the idea because of the incline, but I see inconsistent information online regarding it. My 2 year old is still in my bed so I don't want to have 2 kids in there with us. Which do you all think is better next to the bed etc? Do you havr any personal pros and cons? Any advice would be great.
