never felt so uncomfortable in my life.

I saw a friend this evening leaving a movie theatre. And she and I haven't spoken much since I left the movie theatre as a job. (She works there too). I didn't know why of course until one day I visit my parents, we went to dinner and caught up with them and my little brother he's 14. At the dinner I find out my brother has been accused of rape by a girl that he's spoken to me before about, telling me she is just a friend and he doesn't like her that way. And I know my brother, he tries to act cool with friends only to fit in but deep down he is a big softie that doesn't want to hurt people's feelings. But the girl that accused him is related to the friend I saw at the movies and is apart of an organization I am still apart of that stands for giving opportunities to girls and reaching your dreams. This girl that accused my brother stopped going to this organization because she thought I was going to like beat her up for accusing him. And I'm uncomfortable with the thought of coming and helping anymore because she portrayed me as a bully that all those women I've grown up mentoring under know I'm not. But when it comes to family you never know how hard people go for them. I'm just upset that this happened to my family because she's not only ruined my brothers academic career, but she also ruined relationships. (he was not charged or punished because turned out the girl sent pictures of herself to him and multiple other boys, she also caught herself in the lie of my brother raping her. She continued stalking and harassing my brother on social media even after he had his phone confiscated.) I do not know if she received a punishment. I do know that my parents didn't press charges on her despite my objections.
