Nanny?

Is anyone a nanny and had a bad nannying experience? I would like to hear your stories.

I am currently a nanny and I absolutely love it. They make my feel like part of the family but sometimes when they get paid less they vut my pay as well.  It can get overwhelming sometimes especially since I watched four children but most days are great

I was a nanny with the same family for 6 years. Best job I ever had: fun, rewarding, different everyday. When you work this close and personally with someone, its important you have the same mindsets and values as the patents. I'm so sad my kids don't need me anymore:( though we still Skype all the time!

That being said, if you don't mesh well or have an open communication with the parents, it's hell. Make sure right at the get-go that the nanny and parents have each made clear what they expect out of the position.
