my BF is LAZY

so me and bf have been together for over a year. And I noticing he's getting more lazier. Not in our relationship per say but in general. We went away this weekend, and we both had work today but of course he called out, stating he was tired. HE ALWAYS TIRED. he complains about his job but refuses to look for one cuz he "doesn't know what he wants to do in life" he's 33. He's friend offered to help him get a job making triple amount in the union but of course there was an issue with it. He's scared of heights, which is understandable but I need him to get serious about finding another job and get out of his lazy ass mode. What should I do?
